A fatal progression
The way to free your self is With a true confession
It affects all races

Like money food and sex

Addiction ruins your life
The sad thing about it You won’t even think twice
It occupies your mine
It’s like you’ll doing time
Every time you turn around
You’re spending every dime
You place your family last
And use them up real fast
It’s hard to face reality
Therefore live in the past
There’s so much confusion
It’s a life of delusion
You think you’re doing fine
But it’s just an illusion
You live a life of shame
It leaves you feeling lame
The price for your addiction
Cost you nothing but pain

So last night Chris took Corey’s life
When they arrested him
The blood was still on his knife
Now both are separated
From their kids and wife
One is in the ground
The other’s is doing life
Corey was stabbed him in the heart
For his money and dope
Chris was really strung out
And he had lost all hope
I can’t believe I killed my friend
That’s what he said in the note
They guards found Chris’s body
Hanging from a rope
