It's hard to rouse yourself on a Tuesday morning, 9:00 am
Stuck with cold coffee and microwave pancakes again
And I sit and I think about you, about everything
Left wondering why it is that I'm so confused and why it is that
I can feel the walls in my life closing in around me
way too fast and I can't see, why I always fight the urge to stand

And move on
That's all that I've ever wanted to do
And I can't see why I still have to try
To make things look better to forget all that I had

And I still wonder how long it's been
Since I smiled when I though of the condition of my life
Maybe tomorrow will bring a new chance at everything
Or maybe I'll be right back wondering what the hell
I could have done to keep my life in one piece
Not blow it all with one quick release,
Not amplify my solitude, it seems nothing is all ill ever do

Innocence breeds confidence
I give myself the perfect chance to tell a lie
No alibi you said yourself what i did
was wrong and know in your eyes i can see
last chance for failure, your last option would be saving face
