It all starts on the bridge
In the centre of town
There she stands, a young mother, she pleads and prays
That her son up there doesn't take another step
He leans without a care against the banister and doesn't understand
The words of the men anymore
The helicopter drowns the screaming too much
You can see the men behind the cameras of the tv stations in the distance
The question is: does he jump or not?
The wind is blowing in his face and speaks

Why don't you scream
Why do you give yourself away
When the loneliness rips you apart
Why do you torture yourself
Every day alone, when you cry
When the rain falls you know why

Dark clouds start to rise
The rain starts
He looks up and doesn't believe what he sees
His classmates are pointing the finger at him
Never that they wanted to carry him away
After they beat him up
They left him lying there and started filming him
Afterwards they've sent the Videos around the schoolyard
The anger was rising
But now it's enough
Does he jump, or does he not?
The wind sings his poem into his face

Why don't you scream
Why do you give yourself away
When the loneliness rips you apart
Why do you torture yourself
Every day alone, when you cry
When the rain falls you know why

The world dissapears behind a dark grey
It's quiet - he's breathing out
A lightening, that brights up the way
He jumps - And the rain falls

Why don't you scream
Why do you give yourself away
When the loneliness rips you apart
Why do you torture yourself
Every day alone, when you cry
When the rain falls you know why
