Washed up and lonely on the beach, blood red horizons out of reach.
I saw bodies in the sea,
I felt the sand under my feet and I watched my ship sink.

Stay out of the water.

The raging tide swept me to sea,
The sharks ripped me limb from limb,
It was your pain that did this to me
And at last I am free.

With sharks circling underneath I gave myself into the sea.
This watery grave is where I'll sleep
and I watched the birds as they picked me clean and I watched my ship sink..

Don't go in to the water,
Dark shapes circle me,
Sinking into the seabed,
Water fills my lungs.

Don't go into the water

The raging tide swept me to sea,
The sharks ripped me limb from limb,
It was your pain that did this to me
And at last I am free.

Stay out of the water,
Stay out of the water.

The raging tide swept me to sea,
The sharks ripped me limb from limb,
It was your pain that did this to me
And at last I am free.

And as this winter ends apart we get on with our lives,
no longer shadows frozen under ice.
As the leaves return to the trees I am free.
