We seem to cling to mediocrity like children holding hands while crossing the street.
It’s a system we’re born into naturally. But real problems become the oblivious ones.
We don’t have time to care, we’re asleep at the wheel inside our comfy chairs.
How nice it would be to live in a country that caters the needs of everybody
where wealth inequality doesn’t bring us to our knees.
But we sit here so leisurely where comfort is our enemy
while the world around us keeps crumbling
It’s a national tragedy. It’s a global catastrophe.
It’s in your community. It’s a critical fantasy.
There seems to be indifference when we should consider dissent.
It’s easier not to give a shit.
Feels like I’m getting more and more lazy getting a little bit more crazy,
having to rationalize apathy.
